General Information:
GLOBE-TROTTER PLATES : On each back of these plates one will find the following description: "These souvenir Globe-Trotter plates are to be used for humorous purposes only, and are to be put on your car in addition to your regular state and city license plates. The numbers and lettering thereon are purely ficticious and shall not be construed to be copies of numbers and lettering of any country, state, or municipal license plates. For Fun's Sake - Enjoy the Distinction of a World Traveler". These plates were issued from the late 1930s till the mid 1940s.

This is an odd one. It seems like a replica on a very old base. It is missing the small printed "souvenir" on the left side. The colours are more grey. It was very accurately done though.
